1. Who we are

Prodeverse ("we", "us") operates the prediction game at https://prodeverse.com. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information we collect

• Account: auth provider info (email, Google profile basics) or anonymous user id from Firebase Authentication.
• Profile: display name, country, continent, optional photo URL — all editable.
• Activity: your match predictions, score, stats, badges, group memberships.
• Wallet (optional): blockchain address if you connect a Thirdweb in-app wallet for SBT badges.
• Technical: language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE), basic request logs (IP, user agent) handled by Vercel.

3. How we use it

• Provide and operate the Service (scoring, rankings, groups).
• Show your profile, predictions, and badges to other users (public by design).
• Detect abuse, fraud, and rule violations.
• Aggregate anonymized statistics for product improvement.

4. Third parties

• Google / Firebase — Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Analytics. Data processed in the United States.
• Vercel — Hosting and edge logs.
• Thirdweb — Wallet and on-chain mint operations on Base network (only if you opt in).
• API-Football — Source of match data; we send no personal data to them.

5. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language. Third-party services may set their own cookies for authentication.

6. Data retention

We keep account and prediction data while your account is active. On deletion we purge personal data within 30 days, except for aggregated statistics that no longer identify you.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (16 in EEA / UK). If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own (notably the United States). We rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards where required.

10. Security

We use industry-standard security including Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules, HTTPS, and encrypted secret storage. No system is 100% secure.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via the Service.
